Hey Friends
I am hoping to carefully, and compassionately express this topic and although I won't delve too deep into this matter. I have had some experiences that makes it important enough to want to share.
In christianity we know that God is displease with the act of homosexuality and every christian has in one way and the other made reference to Sodom and Gomorrah and how it was destroyed. The Bible does state.
Just incase you never knew
Someone sent me an email that moved me; it was about the challenges they are facing and how alone they felt. How they were completely, cast out of their family due to this choice of sexual preference. What was even more interesting was that the persons involved are the ones who this person relies on the most. I was saddened by the actions taken and although no judgement made it made me sad because just as my reader hurts so was the people involved. Their pain is equally important.
Ironically; a few days later I received a call and someone stated that they too received surprising news about someone very close to them and how it was a struggle. Her faith was in conflict with the lifestyle or sexual preference of the person with whom they care for.
The question I was ask was how do you deal/ handle a situation when someone closest to us tell us that they are homosexual “LGBTQQ” (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer]?
My answer was to start from a place of Love. Love first; over matter. Now in no means I'm saying that homosexuality is the right path for one to follow Im not!. Thats not my decision to make for you. I have my own decisions to make and be accounted for.
I'm bringing awareness that no person of faith should disregard any other human being or alienate them because they are different. Open your mind to understanding why they are different in the first place.
My position is I am christian and my belief is sin is sin and sin is anything against the word of God. I am saying that I accept you the person, not your action I love you the person and what you choose to do in you sexual life is your choice. Your bedroom is not my business.
Your actions will be accounted for one day just as mine and I will not throw any mis guided judgement; and so you shouldn't also.
I am not here to judge, belittle discriminate or hate. I'm no different than you. I am human alike you. Some of my differences will never be accepted no matter how hard I try. But I strive towards a better purpose. So should you.
I watch first hand the peril of someone being pushed away because they were different. Ive seen first hand how destructive this type of alienation can be to the people involved and this is my attempt to have a conversation.
Before you judge try to understand and never turn someone away; That initial conversation you will have with the people you would like hear from will have a powerful impact on them many years to come.
Consider how hard it was to open themselves up to your scrutiny in an attempt to prove their love by being honest. Love First.
Could you imagine if God casts us away every time we did something that was outright against his plan for us.
He would have never sent Jesus his son. Grace and mercy would not exist; forgiveness and confession would not be there to help the broken hearted.
Moreover, God knew that even in sin his love could still reach. His Love still reaches.
It's not your obligation to disregard any person/s life, their choices to lifestyle. You didn't create it.
However; it is your duty to love as God loves us all. Within that Love the Holy Spirit dwells. Someone once told me that sometimes the only ministry one can see is the one you live. Meaning if someone who you met never made it in a church or even read the Bible would they see christ in you?
One single action save us from sin and that was Jesus being crucified on cross and one single action defeated death Jesus rose up. Let the good in you be spoken about for good; exemplify the fruit of the Spirit.
If someone you love comes out and states they are homosexual “LGBTQQ” Let you reaction be from a place of Love first. It's okay to hate the sin but love the person maybe in that love a new transformation can occur.
If you forfeit that relationship then you closed the communication and your opportunity to share the love of God.
I know it get hard to understand. Let God be the only Judge of a man's heart and his actions. Even Jesus forgave the murderer, traitor, prostitute, thief, and self righteous

Leviticus 18 v 22 “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin.23 “A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act.24 “Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways. 25 Because the entire land has become defiled, I am punishing the people who live there. I will cause the land to vomit them out.I am not here to bash or even abased anyone. If you are loved by God you are loved by me. As it should be.

Luke 7:36-50 New Living Translation (NLT)
Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman
36 One of the Pharisees asked Jesus to have dinner with him, so Jesus went to his home and sat down to eat.[a] 37 When a certain immoral woman from that city heard he was eating there, she brought a beautiful alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume. 38 Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them.
39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She’s a sinner!”
40 Then Jesus answered his thoughts. “Simon,” he said to the Pharisee, “I have something to say to you.”
“Go ahead, Teacher,” Simon replied.
41 Then Jesus told him this story: “A man loaned money to two people—500 pieces of silver[b] to one and 50 pieces to the other. 42 But neither of them could repay him, so he kindly forgave them both, canceling their debts. Who do you suppose loved him more after that?”
43 Simon answered, “I suppose the one for whom he canceled the larger debt.”
“That’s right,” Jesus said. 44 Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Look at this woman kneeling here. When I entered your home, you didn’t offer me water to wash the dust from my feet, but she has washed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You didn’t greet me with a kiss, but from the time I first came in, she has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You neglected the courtesy of olive oil to anoint my head, but she has anointed my feet with rare perfume.
47 “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” 48 Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.”
In so as I accept your choice here's mine will you to understand it.

Matthew 22 37 thru 39
37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’[e] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[
Matthew 6:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 7 New International Version (NIV)
Judging Others
7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
